How to Take a Screenshot on any Device and Operating System?

You can take a screenshot on Mac to capture:

• the entire screen.
• a portion of the screen.
• a window or menu

Follow these steps to take a screenshot on Mac (Entire Screen):

• Press and hold the keys: Shift, Command, 3 at the same time.
• Wait for the screenshot to save to your desktop or click on the thumbnail in the corner of your screen to edit.

• To capture a portion of your screen, press “Windows”, “Shift”, and “S” keys at the same time on your keyboard.

• Select the Start button.
• Type snipping tool in the search box on the taskbar.
• Select Snipping Tool.
• Press the Start button in the Snip & Sketch app.
• Press the New button to start snipping with the snipping bar.

The snipping bar allows to drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle, draw a free-form shape around an object, or capture the entire screen.

8- How to Take a Screenshot on a Chromebook?

You can use your keyboard to capture screenshots of your entire screen or a portion of the screen.

Follow these steps to take a screenshot on Chromebook (Entire Screen):

• Press “Ctrl” + “Show windows“ on your keyboard at the same time to select the entire screen.
• Click to see your screenshot when the notification appears. You can also find it in your Files app.

Follow these steps to take a screenshot of a portion of the screen on Chromebook:

• Press the “Shift” + “Show windows” + “Ctrl” keys at the same time.
• Click and drag the crosshair  to select the portion of the screen you want to capture.
• Let go when your screenshot is selected.
