Before you permanently delete Instagram account, consider disabling it temporarily instead. That will allow you to recover your profile, photos, videos, comments, likes and followers when you decide to enable it again.
How to Delete Instagram Account?
To delete your account, you need to send a deletion request from a mobile browser or computer. You can’t delete your account from within the Instagram app.
Follow these steps to request the permanent deletion of your Instagram account:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the Delete Your Account page.
- Select the reason why you are deleting your account from the dropdown menu.
- Re-enter your password.
- Click on Permanently delete my account.
After your account has been deleted, you won’t be able to access your information (photos, posts, etc). Consider downloading a copy of your data before you request the permanent deletion of your account.
