How does shipping work for buyers on Mercari?
Answer:
Sellers on Mercari have the option to choose who pays for shipping (the buyer or the seller).
If a seller select for the buyer to pay, the cost of the label will be added to the purchase price. The price of an item will include the shipping cost when a seller offers free shipping.
Mercari sellers decide which carrier to use (USPS, FedEx or UPS).
Sometimes when sellers don’t have a preferred shipping carrier, they may allow the buyers to decide. As a customer, You’ll have to make a choice at checkout:
- FedEx Home Delivery/Ground
- USPS First Class or Priority Mail
